President Kennedy had set this audacious mission of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to earth by the end of the 1960s. It was an audacious, difficult, and dangerous mission. On a blustery Bark at the Park night at Founders Park, South Carolina baseball earned a 3-2 win over the North Florida Ospreys. It was the Gamecock pitching that carried the day early as Terry Rooney’s group limited UNF most of the game. The offense wasn’t very good for most of the contest (USC had just one hit through 4.2 innings and none through three frames).
