With some very sad news, Georgetown Hoyas Director of Athletics Lee Reed announced the passing of Georgetown Women’s Basketball Coach Tasha Butts. The 41-year-old coach was diagnosed with advanced stage breast cancer in 2021 but persevered. By all indications, Coach Butts has made an indelible mark on the basketball community and at Georgetown during her brief but impactful time on the Hilltop.
