NAIROBI, Kenya, June 18 – The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has increased bulk payment settlement time to enable completion of large-value and time-sensitive transactions. Starting July 1, 2025, the Kenya Electronic Payment and Settlement System (KEPSS), the national Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system, operating hours will be revised to between 7am and 7pm from the current 8:30am and 4:30am.

NAIROBI, Kenya, June 16 – Centum Re has received Sh2.6 billion from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for the construction of nearly 2,000 affordable houses at the Two Rivers Development. The fund from the World Bank’s lending arm, which will be repaid in seven years, will be used to construct green, affordable homes within the Mizizi project sited at the Two Rivers residential and commercial complex.
