A 6m boat capsized near Carrickfergus, triggering a multi-agency response. One person was taken to hospital, and police said everyone else was accounted for. Those involved were left “cold and shaken” but otherwise fine, rescuers said. The PSNI, Ambulance Service, NI Fire and Rescue, and Coastguard were all tasked to the scene near Carrickfergus. The successful operation was later wound down, although eight ambulances were still at the scene late into the evening, with some still being treated.

One has been taken to hospital. The PSNI, Ambulance Service, NI Fire and Rescue and Coastguard were all tasked to the scene near Carrickfergus. The Belfast Telegraph understands that a boat capsized in the water shortly after 9pm. It’s understood all of those in the water, including several young people, have been rescued and some were treated by emergency services at the Bangor Marina.

A number of windows were also smashed during the incidentFour people have been arrested following an incident in which petrol was poured through the letterbox of a flat in Co Antrim. Ten police cars, including a Tactical Support Group, one fire appliance and two fire officers' cars attended the scene in the Gregg Street area of Lisburn earlier this evening. The police and fire brigade were called to the incident shortly after 5.20pm on Sunday.
