Just to clarify, J.J. McCarthy said he was fully cleared for minicamp on Monday. That is true. But it was via the physical the Vikings gave to all of their players prior to the start of minicamp. McCarthy's surgically-repaired knee was long ago cleared for all on-field work.

Vikings signed TE Josh Oliver to a three-year extension for $23.25 million with a max value of $27.5 million, including 11.9M in new guarantees and $19.9M in total guarantees, per Andrew Kessler of Athletes First.

The Vikings have agreed to terms on a contract extension with TE Josh Oliver. Additonal time with a blocker who has shown more receiving ability than expected.
