Photo credit should read PETER MUHLY/AFP via Getty Images They say “you can’t win them all.” But I think that is supposed to apply to the 162-game baseball schedule generally. I would argue that when your starter throws a one-run complete game that goes the full nine innings, you should in fact “win them all.” Alas. Orlando Hernández’s gem was wasted by the combination of a solo home run off the bat of a future Hall of Famer, and the offensive ineptitude of the Yankees.

Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images The Athletic | Ken Rosenthal ($): As not just a Yankee fan but a fantasy baseball manager whose rotation is held together by Max Fried, I don’t need to be told how fantastic Fried has been in his debut season in pinstripes. Axisa notes a few reasons to believe that Grisham’s increased production can continue.

Manager Joe Torre scheduled a meeting for noon, prior to the 1:05 pm first pitch for this game. For about five minutes, the Hall of Fame skipper calmly addressed his two-time defending champions, trying to work his magic to get them out of their doldrums. It worked, at least to some extent.

My fantasy baseball team desperately needs Gunnar Henderson to be Gunnar Henderson again. Really regretting using my second keeper on him right now.

Jarvis and his allies in Big Media don't want you to see this tweet of him getting owner.

Please stop sharing this tweet of me getting owned. Thank you.

Can't hurt the ChiSox to have the Pope rooting for them. They need all the help they can get.

We sat down with the brother of Pope Leo XIV at his New Lenox home. He tells us his brother loves Wordle, Words with Friends, and the Chicago White Sox! Tune in on @WGNNews at 5:00 for our conversation. https://t.co/dyuyzriqRW
