Recent Scottish Premiership defeats to Rangers, Hibernian and St Johnstone can all be explained away by the "comfort" zone the manager felt his players had retreated into due to their huge lead at the top of the table. When your race is run, it's hard to keep the same focus and intensity. Fair enough, up to a point, and it's one I've made on this page before. The number nine in question is Cyriel Dessers. The Nigernian could - arguably should - have had a hat-trick but again spurned the chances that came his way. The 30-year-old has 23 goals for the season - a respectable return - but were he more clinical, he could have double that. If Dessers be one of the players Ferguson is losing patience with, one option would be to move Hamza Igamane up front. The other would be to restore Danilo to the starting XI.
