Get your slopeside après-mountain fix here at the base of Beaver Creek. Inside, large windows make for front row views of skiers coming and going, and the spacious open-air patio is filled with rosy-cheeked guests throughout the winter and summer. The menu pleases a crowd, with fully-loaded nachos and creamy spinach artichoke dip made for sharing and robust entrees like salmon, lamb, and beef dishes paired with seasonal sides to top off a mountain appetite.

Try It On : 3 Natural Fiber Bras Made for Movement | By Kim Fuller There's a fine line between comfort and support when it comes to activewear bras, and at 7 months pregnant I've found myself even more sensitive to fabric when it's next-to-skin.

Kim FullerThis is where you can find the best and most affordable street tacos in the Vail Valley. There are only about 20 seats in the narrow dining area, but you could eat their tender barbacoa with your head buried in the snow and still be happy. The tacos and burritos are our go-tos here, but when you walk in, you may notice a majority of people are eating burgers. The ones here are solid, specifically the Especial that comes with ham, cheese, and grilled pineapple.

Avon and Edwards are both just west of Vail. Sure, there might not be a surplus of extra cozy cabins in these towns, but these places are chiller, more convenient, and won’t force you to drop $1k a night on a merely serviceable Airbnb. While lot of restaurants in Vail and Beaver Creek serve stuff you might find in the French and Swiss Alps, in Avon and Edwards, there’s a wider selection of things like steaming bowls of phở and loaded burritos from casual Mexican spots.

RESERVE A TABLEKim FullerJuniper is an under-the-radar spot tucked into the Riverwalk shopping area and next to Eagle River. We like it best for a date night or just a drink at the long comfortable bar—they have a larger-than-usual list of wine-by-the-glass options. Share some starters like grilled octopus and braised short rib pizza with gorgonzola, but don’t miss the braised short rib with a creamy smoked gouda polenta and a fresh winter vegetable slaw.
