    Singer Jang Hyun-seung opened up his official YouTube channel, Jang Hyun Seung, on Friday, ahead of the release of his new song “Orbit” scheduled for April 29.   The channel can be found with YouTube handle @JangHyunSeung_Official.   One 16-second introduction video has been uploaded on the channel as of press time Saturday.   The video, consisting of a series of images transitioning quickly, shows Jang’s identity as an artist, the artist's PR agency said in a release Saturday.

    A man in his 20s was sentenced to 10 months in prison for blackmailing a woman out of tens of millions of won after falsely claiming she had given him a sexually transmitted infection after they had sex.   The Masan branch of Changwon District Court in South Gyeongsang handed down the sentence Saturday, finding the man guilty of blackmailing and related charges.   The court also ordered the defendant to complete a 40-hour stalking treatment program.

    South Korean bio venture ABL Bio Inc. has landed a licensing agreement worth over 4 trillion won ($2.7 billion) with GSK Plc, allowing GSK to develop novel medicines for neurodegenerative diseases by using ABL Bio’s blood-brain barrier (BBB) shuttle platform, Grabody-B. This is ABL Bio’s first export of a platform technology rather than a specific drug candidate, raising expectations for faster commercialization of the platform moving forward.
