Congratulations to Jacob Fitzwater, son of James and Shelia Fitzwater of Oak Hill, for completing his Eagle Scout project on July 4. His project was replacing a bridge from the parking area of Ames Heights Bible Church in Ames Heights to the front door. It is the safest way parishioners with mobility issues can enter the building since both the front and back doors require ascending steep steps to the sanctuary. The existing bridge was showing its age and in need of major renovation or replacement.
