Archer Hands, a missing 18-year-old Pelham resident who is austistic, was found on a bus in the Bronx Thursday and is now with police and on the way home to his family. According to a Facebook post by his mother, Cynthia Hands, Archer was “riding a bus when good people realized he needed help” and took him to the police. “I just got a call from a PS in the Bronx,” said Hands in a 8:24 p.m. post in the Parents of Pelham Facebook group.

Krystal Howell, who ran unopposed in November, was sworn into the Village Board of Trustees on Tuesday evening. Village Trustees Hanan Eldahry and Russell Solomon were sworn in for their fourth and third terms, respectively. This was the last swearing-in ceremony at the current Village Hall on Sparks Avenue, as the board will be moving into the new Municipal Center in the new year.

Categories: The Village Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve permits moving two cell phone towers from the Pelham Fire House to the Pelham Green apartment building on Fifth Avenue, as well as resolutions to move antennas for T-Mobile and AT&T, during a special meeting on Nov. 18. These three resolutions were tabled from the board’s regular meeting on Nov. 12.
