    Builders unearthed a time capsule in a Belmont bathroom, containing memories from the Spurdle family. The discovery coincided with the anniversary of Glen Spurdle’s passing, adding emotional significance for the family. The Langis family plan to continue the tradition by hiding their own time capsule in the house. A time capsule, buried 25 years ago during a bathroom renovation, has been unearthed, with the discovery coming on the anniversary of the death of the father who hid it there.

    Lachie Love was diagnosed with an incurable brain cancer called diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) just after Christmas 2022. He and his family had been ticking off a bucket list of amazing adventures since then. Lachie died at home this week surrounded by loved ones. When Lachie Love is farewelled on Sunday, giant inflatable T-Rexes will hand out the order of service and he will be honoured with a Nerf gun salute.
