He said it is "a complex component that is important for the efficiency of the engines."Manager Magazin reported in January that the component is a belt used in starter-generators in hybrid cars. It is supplied by Continental subsidiary Vitesco. Audi has been using the component in its top engines since 2018. Audi and Vitesco have been in dispute about the part since the summer of 2023, Manager Magazin reported.
