The Department of Justice last week removed what it described as “unnecessary and outdated” red tape guidances for businesses to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The agency cited the Jan. 20 Presidential Memorandum calling on the heads of all executive departments to take appropriate actions to lower the cost of living throughout the country. The withdrawal of 11 pieces of guidances will aid businesses by eliminating needless review and focusing only on current ADA guidance.
