It’s coming down to the final stretch until the release of James Gunn’s Superman movie, which will also be the official kickoff of the new DC Universe franchise. Production has been airtight at DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures, with very few leaks… at least until now. As Superman moves out of the edit bay and starts to be shown to audiences, reports about the feedback to the film are starting to trickle out.

Star Wars will be giving fans of the prequel trilogy a hot piece of new content with Maul – Shadow Lord, the next Star Wars animated series coming to Disney+. As the title implies, Shadow Lord will fill in a key chapter of Darth Maul’s story arc, set in the era between his escape from Order 66 (in the Clone Wars animated series) and his final days as a crime lord, as the Rebel Alliance was first taking shape.

What should Star Trek fans expect from the upcoming new series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy? In the words of one star from the show, it will be a “hormonal” experience. Kerrice Brooks was cast in Starfleet Academy as one of the main cadets featured in the series (exact character names and bios are still being kept under wraps), and she was recently interviewed by Trek Movie alongside her fellow co-star and cadet, Bella Shepard.

What will Robert Downey Jr. look like as Doctor Doom? That’s one of the biggest questions hanging over the Marvel Cinematic Universe right now. Avengers: Doomsday will put the villain center-stage (as the title implies), and fans are wondering about some of the key logistics of that choice. Will Marvel Studios really keep Downey confined to Doom’s iconic mask for the majority of his performance (and not show that iconic face)?

Marvel fans think they may have spotted some major heartbreak coming down the pike with Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. The two films will be the culminating events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s current “Multiverse Saga” storyline, and a lot of fans thought they already knew that the two-part story would play out a lot like Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, but suddenly that expectation is not so certain.

I'm in my mid-40s. "Who Are You?" is pretty much my attitude towards ANYONE who thinks they have beef with me. #ANDOR ate that.

I Dug #Thunderbolts as a coherent and thematically-sound #MCU movie - but I REALLY loved the meta-humor about Pugh, Stan, Harbour & Co. and the struggles they've had as #Marvel actors hoping for (but not finding) big glory in the franchise like the #Avengers stars before them.
