    The American rapper Post Malone has announced that he will headline the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh. The opening ceremony takes place on 10 July in the Saudi capital. The esports event runs from 7 July to 24 August. Post Malone, real name Austin Post (aka that guy with tattoos on his face), hails from Syracuse, New York. The rapper has gained critical and commercial success for his blend of hip-hop, rock and trap. His songs include Circles, Rockstar and Sunflower.

Running from 1 October 2030 to 31 March 2031, Expo 2030 Riyadh will take place in the heart of the capital. Following a $7.8 billion investment, details about the masterplan have been revealed. In November 2023, Riyadh secured 119 out of 173 votes, defeating Rome and Busan. Now, the city is on track to host the prestigious event.
