Held at the Tom Harbin Agricultural Center, the event featured students who competed in a variety of categories: photography, baking, public speaking and more. Winners of these competitions are eligible to compete at the regional event later this month.

The event allowed first-grade students a close-up view into a variety of careers and the vehicles used by first responders, farmers and a host of other professionals.

Leighann describes Gypsy as a pet who loves to be a lap dog and is very sassy. Gypsy suffers from no health issues and is a happy healthy dog. “She loves to pick on her ‘sister,’ Nola, even though Gypsy’s smaller than her,” Leighann said.
