A strike involving as many as 375 registered nurses at Henry Ford Rochester Hospital is set to begin June 9, and is believed to be the first in Henry Ford Health's 110-year history. The Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) Local 40 says contract negotiations among its registered nurses and the health system have broken down. The strike will continue until 6:59 a.m. June 14.

The MIHPC issued a report detailing its analysis of the prices for the same three drugs across 53 Michigan hospitals and found a broad range of pricing for Neulasta, Orencia and Humira.
