VIPRutgers football offered Toledo commit Michael Dukes on Saturday, and the physical running back is already high on the Big Ten program. Dukes, a 6-foot-1 and 195-pound prospect from Martin Luther King (Detroit, MI) is a three-star who is ranked the No. 33 overall recruit Michigan in the class of 2026.

The offensive tackle from Lafayette is now the third offensive line addition for Rutgers in the portal this spring. Former Rutgers football standout Kyonte Hamilton is being projected by Houston Texans general manager Nick Caserio as being able to come in and become a part of his team's rotation at defensive tackle. Taken in the seventh round of last month's NFL draft, Hamilton closed out his Rutgers career with a career-high 35 total tackles and four sacks in 2024. During his four years, Hamilton finished with 109 total tackles along with five sacks, a pass defended and a forced fumble.
