Spotify is working on a solution to this very problem. The music streaming service announced yesterday that it has started testing a new feature that you can use when a song is played too often. It’s a 30-day snooze that temporarily removes the song in question from your recommended Spotify playlists.

    Earlier this month, we heard rumblings that Google had plans to launch a more child-friendly version of its AI chatbot Gemini, and now 9to5Google reports that the tech giant has confirmed in an email to parents that the kids’ version of Gemini is officially in the works. Children under the age of 13 will be able to start using Gemini in the coming months via a supervised account, and parents will be able to manage their children’s usage via Google’s Family Link app.

    Update on April 25, 2025: As of yesterday, Microsoft has confirmed the issue and implemented a fix, but that fix won’t actually roll out until “early May” (Beta Channel), “mid May” (Current Channel Preview), or “late May” (Current Channel). If you absolutely can’t wait that long for the update, you can revert to version 2405 of classic Outlook, but you’ll be giving up several important security fixes.

    Yesterday, Microsoft announced that the Xbox app has been made available on select LG smart TVs. Through the Xbox app, you can take advantage of Xbox Cloud Gaming, which lets you stream hundreds of Xbox games without needing an Xbox console. All you need to stream Xbox games on your LG smart TV is an Xbox controller with Bluetooth support, an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and an LG smart TV that supports the Xbox app.
