(FOX 5/KUSI) — Eleonore Frank, a local designer, is celebrating her Filipino heritage by launching a bridal collection under her clothing line, La Union Filipiniana. Frank’s clothing business began with a simple request for a First Communion dress, and in the years since has grown to include specialty clothing for other occasions, often with influences from Filipino culture. “That’s what God has given me at this point in my life and I’m happy that I can do it,” Frank said.
