SAN DIEGO, CA — A series of aftershocks continue to rattle the San Diego region following a powerful earthquake that stuck Monday morning near Julian. A 5.2 magnitude quake was recorded at 10:08 a.m. about 2.5 miles south of the mountain town of Julian in San Diego County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake had a depth of about 8.3 miles. The shaking was felt in Orange and Riverside counties and as far away as Los Angeles.
