It was windy enough this Wednesday, but things will improve dramatically for the end of the week!Overnight clouds decrease and temperatures fall into the mid 30s. Tomorrow (Thursday), we’ll wake up to sunshine! It’ll still be breezy at times, but temperatures will be in the upper 50s– right on par for this time of year. Friday looks great too… for the most part! Highs get a little boost, and end up in the low 60s.

We have an uncomfortable evening in store as a line of heavy rain moves through Southern New England! This line is a quick-mover, but it’ll drive heavy rain and gusty winds across the area. While it doesn’t look like a main concern, don’t be shocked if we get a rumble of thunder within the line as well. Rain decreases as we get to 8 PM or so, and while a few showers linger, we’re dry by midnight. We’ll stay windy though, with gusts mostly in the 20s overnight.

The forecast certainly looks nicer this week! That said, there are a few bumps in the road beginning tonight. Overall, Monday has been gorgeous. Mostly sunny and warm. That said, we’ll see clouds increase tonight and after midnight, we’ll add showers as well thanks to low pressure moving in from the west. Showers will continue tomorrow morning, leading to a potentially slow commute.

It’s been a gray end to the workweek, and, unfortunately, we’ll stay soggy for both Saturday and Sunday. Let’s start with this: showers will move in through Friday evening and be widespread by midnight. Rain won’t be incredibly heavy, but it will be persistent. With temperatures falling into the 30s, we could also see some sleet and wet snowflakes mixing with the rain in parts of northern Providence County and northern Bristol County (MA).

Today’s been pretty nice all things considered, but we’re about to switch it up bigtime in terms of the weather. Overnight, temperatures fall as our next round of precipitation moves in. It’ll be just cold enough that, around midnight, we’ll see rain turn to a wintry mix, which will include some wet snowflakes. That’s the bad news, but the good news is that since it’s been warm enough over the last few days, roads should be too warm for any of that snow to actually stick.
