Not a bad day overall, but clouds are moving back in now, and a stray shower to end our Wednesday isn’t out of the question. Other than that, we’re looking at the low 50s and some patchy fog as we wake up tomorrow morning. Thursday is decent enough. We’ll be in and out of the clouds at the start of the day. Highs will be in the mid and upper 60s for the coast, and low 70s for inland cities.

It’s been a soggy start to the week, and we’re not done with the rain just yet. An area of low pressure is stagnant over the northeastern third of the US, bringing us a rinse-and-repeat forecast. We’ll have rounds of showers still this evening, then a brief break in the rain in the wee early hours of Tuesday. That said, by Tuesday morning, showers start up again. Temperatures in the morning will be largely in the mid 50s. We’ll have dry breaks here and there Tuesday afternoon.

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — It’s RIFC’s new home and Pawtucket’s newest host, and when it comes to catering to the 10,500 fans in their space, the team at Centreville Bank Stadium is the host with the most. “We’re planning to sell out, so we want to make sure we have enough room for sellouts,” Event Sales Manager Alexandra Eldridge said. “We’re extremely fortunate that we get to be here. Especially in Rhode Island, there’s nothing like this.

Saturday morning we wake up to some patchy fog and temperatures in the 50s. The afternoon brings plenty of sun and temperatures in the 60s for the coast and 70s inland… but we’re keeping an eye on the second half of Saturday! While most of Saturday will stay dry, we could see an evening thunderstorm in Southern New England. The worst of the weather doesn’t look like it’ll be here at home, but we could see one or two storms pack a little bit of punch with gusty winds and some small hail.

After another beautiful day here in Southern New England, the stretch of easy-going weather has come to an end. Overnight tonight expect more cloud cover and some areas of patchy fog. Temperatures fall into the upper 40s and low 50s. But the big ticket item in the next 12 hours is a warm front that will drive rain and possibly a few rumbles of thunder our way very early Friday morning. Expect the rain to begin around 5 AM or so and end around 7:45 AM. We get a break during the daytime on Friday.
