Ich habe zwei Söhne im Alter von 15 und 17. Gemeinsame Zeit rückt da eher in den Hintergrund für die beiden. In letzter Zeit bin ich sehr überrascht, wenn sie mich nach freier Zeit mit mir fragen. Das ist meistens, wenn sie die Zeit wirklich brauchen, um mit mir über das neuste Schuldrama zu reden, oder Texte für einen Auftritt zu lernen. And here we are again. The end of the year, deep in the throes of the holidays, school breaks, and colder, darker days. Summer’s end was a rush of folder-and-pencil shopping, back-to-school nights, and attempting to get everyone, including myself, on a reasonable sleep schedule. I also squeezed in a little reading, trying (and failing) to get through my ambitious stack of vacation novels. The first days of September have brought cooler temperatures to my part of Virginia, and that makes me long to dive into the cozy, magical, pumpkin-spice romances whispering to me from my shelves.
