Kristine Kurey, Port OrchardKitsap SunIt’s impossible to not see all the litter and trash on our local roads. Highway 16 is the worst. I know we have local groups that volunteer once in a while to clean up and that is awesome. But it’s not enough. I see that Kitsap County has now partnered with a new group whose sole purpose is to collect stray grocery carts and return them to merchants. Kitsap County, how about stepping up and helping coordinate with WSDOT to address the litter problem, too?
