Perhaps we could breed Senator Thom Tillis (alleged R-NC) with Senator Mazie Hirono (D-uh) to produce a senatorial super-moron, a legislator so unbelievably stupid that it needs a constant reminder to breathe. But, upon reflection, Frankenstein-like experiments to create the ultimate moron might be amusing, but what we really need to do now is get rid of Thom Tillis. He needs to go. He needs to be gone. Republicans need to stop screwing around with pols like him.

Britain started arresting people for tweeting unapproved things, and France decided to arrest its leading opposition politician, so what happened in Germany was not a surprise. After all, Germans are the best at fascism. There, the establishment parties used the internal security apparatus to formally designate the AfD, which is an upstart populist party with a plurality of voter support, particularly by the young and by the eastern Germans, an extremist organization.

My other experience was much more uplifting and took place at the wedding of Townhall’s own Larry O’Connor’s daughter in beautiful Orange County. She is a Naval Academy graduate, as is her husband, so the place was packed with Navy ensigns and Marine second lieutenants. These kids were enough to restore some of your faith in humanity. No wokeness. No wussiness. They were smart, confident, and proud to be serving our country. Several had already started families, and most of them were extremely devout.
