It's Tourism Tuesday from now on. Discover Long Island has rebranded Tumbleweed Tuesday, the day after Labor Day when typically tourism begins to slow down on the East End, in an effort to create year-round tourism interest in the area. A new marketing campaign will seek to showcase towns and highlights across both the North Fork and South Shore, hoping to bring people out during winter months.
