To wit, it will be interesting to see how much (if any) opposition this move draws from the governors. The announcement today was that the Fed will propose a recission, so no votes tallied yet. When the Board voted to exit a green finance group in Jan, Barr and Kugler abstained

This is, in fact, a self-defeat. Democrats retain a majority on the Fed Board. Why any Democratic Fed governor would support this move is beyond me.
