All three occupants of a nitrogen-powered hot air balloon walked away on their own strength after an unexpected controlled landing in Cardross, according to Cardigan Deputy Fire Chief Ben Riley. Cyril “BB” Chapman was not only a successful businessman, but a man who always put family first. The Little Harbour resident and longtime owner of Chapman Brothers Construction passed away on May 21 at the age of 82. He and his late brother Buddy started the family business six decades ago, which is still run by family today.
