The agency world in 2024 was a time of consolidation at the network level, as well as a bit in the indie world. The gigantic merger ofOmnicom and IPG, while not yet complete, changed the game for many. There were layoffs at some of the big shops, while independents were there to catch the folks who didn’t see a future in holding companies. And new agencies popped up, led by creatives who had been at the big networks and wanted a change. All said, change was everywhere in the agency world in 2024.
