non-bitcoin "crypto" is just tradifi/fintech with decentralization theater. traditional banks, paypal, robinhood, cash app, coinbase, ripple, solana, and ethereum are all competing with each other. how obvious does this have to become before you can see it?

This is a good point. Putting XRP into cold storage is not secure because Ripple and its executives can still dump on you, which leads to loss of value. This is also a good reason it should not be included in any national digital asset reserve.
