Aaron Cummings touched down in Paris this week a little early to the Summer Olympics, but the 27-year-old is not spending any time before the Games sightseeing, or anything even close to that. On Wednesday, July 24, when the American rugby sevens team takes the field to start their pool play with a matchup against hosts France, Cummings is expected to become the first Grand Haven High School graduate to take part in an Olympic Games. kAmpE E96 DE2CE @7 E96 >@?E9[ H96?

Downtown sidewalks and streets are generally busy with bikers, but mornings have been especially busy this week thanks to a busy summer camp. Velo Kids, a nonprofit started in Holland back in 2017, has run summer bike camps for youth cyclists as a way to get outdoors while out of school. They've been steadily climbing north in recent years, and brought a camp this summer over to downtown Grand Haven for this week. kAm%92E >62?E 2 8C@FA @7 ad\A=FD C:56CD EC2G6=:?8 :?
