Bucs Boosters flex fundraising muscle at golf event

HOLLAND — Mulligans and smiles mixed together throughout Friday's Buc Open fundraiser event, where over 30 teams of golfers played a round to start their weekend and raise funds for the Bucs Boosters program. The Three Fires Golf Club played host to the yearly occasion, which helps raise a substantial chunk of money for Grand Haven's school-sponsored sports teams.

Velo Kids brings summer bike camps to downtown GH

Downtown sidewalks and streets are generally busy with bikers, but mornings have been especially busy this week thanks to a busy summer camp. Velo Kids, a nonprofit started in Holland back in 2017, has run summer bike camps for youth cyclists as a way to get outdoors while out of school.
