Colorado—Scattered moisture and cooler temperatures were prevalent across the state during the week ending May 25, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Agricultural Statistics Service, Colorado Crop Progress Report. Winter wheat in far northeastern counties received some reprieve from dry conditions after a week of decent moisture. Stem sawflies had begun their emergence in the district.

Forage Crops, Hay Market News, Hay Range Pasture, Hay Report, Kansas Hay Market, Markets This past week, demand was light, trade was moderate, and prices were steady, on limited test according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, May 27. There have been no new crop contracts made, as everyone seems to be holding out for test results and an increase in supply. Grass hay still seems to be in abundance, and old crop grinding alfalfa continues to move.
