    I’ve put off these daily record blogs for about a month and in that time, I realized that Autobiographical Order reached its 10th anniversary. I’ve been writing my silly record blog for 10 years. Just for fun, because I can. And it’s still kind of neat to take the journey through my record collection. Of course, these days, if I were doing something like this, it would probably be on a Substack and not a dot-wordpress blog, but also, who gives a shit.

    Ay, or should I say Oi!? On the heels of the band’s B Sides and C Sides, released a couple of months ago, Rancid returns not with anything new, but with something old. It’s the band’s first release, its self-titled 1992 EP (Hellcat Records). The 5-song release gives us a look at the band’s early beginnings and we can hear the evolution of the group as it (de)volved into the crashing masterfulness that it is today. Two tracks clocking in at almost 3 minutes long while the other three are 2 and under.

    La Luz has dropped new single “I’ll Go With You.” The song is off the quartet’s forthcoming album News of The Universe, available May 24th via Sub Pop. “I’ll Go With You’ follows previous singles “Strange World” and “Poppies.” La Luz will be touring North America, Europe, and the UK in support of News of the Universe, and the first run of dates will kick off May 23 in Barcelona.
