United States 2024 US Elections There was a stark divide between how men and women voted in the 2024 US presidential election on November 5. National exit polls showed men favored Republican candidate Donald Trump, while women favored democratic nominee Kamala Harris. This divide, known as a "gender gap," can be partly explained by a key issue that came up throughout both party's campaigns: abortion and reproductive rights.
