Embassy urges nationals to remain in contact amid escalating attacks. The Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel has confirmed that two Sri Lankan women were affected during the latest wave of Iranian ballistic missile attacks on Israel’s central regions overnight. One woman was evacuated from a residence south of Tel Aviv at approximately 3.30 a.m., after the house sustained structural tremors due to a nearby impact. She was reportedly unharmed and was moved to safety along with her host family.

Minister of Justice and National Integration, Attorney-at-Law Harshana Nanayakkara, has directed officials to expedite the construction of two ministry buildings and four court complexes under the ‘Adhikarana Piyasa’ project. The instruction was issued during a high-level discussion held on 27 May at the Ministry of Justice and National Integration, where progress on judicial infrastructure projects was reviewed.
