NewsDunedinA person has been arrested after making threats and waving around what appeared to be a knife in the Meridian Mall this afternoon. A police spokeswoman said officers were called to the scene at about 2.50pm. ‘‘The person allegedly making threats was located and taken into custody at the scene,’’ she said.

Robert Ralston was critically injured on March 29 after falling from a trailer police say was towed by Andrew Mercer. Mr Ralston died in hospital yesterday morning.
