    PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Newly-restored South Coast Rail lines are back up and running Monday after frustrated riders were left stranded Sunday night when multiple trains failed to arrive. Riders say they faced hours of confusion, delays and unkept promises. “Yesterday, a group of us traveled to Boston,” said Tanya Keiron. “We intended on taking the 5:59 train from South Station back to Fall River. The signs were saying that it was canceled. There was one gentleman working at the communal booth.

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The National Transportation Safety Board continues their investigation Monday into what caused a small plane to crash in upstate New York, killing six people. And among the victims, a former NCAA Woman of the Year player from Massachusetts. Karenna Groff and several members of her family died when their twin-engine plane went down south of Albany near the Massachusetts state line on Saturday.

    Dear Members of the Brown Community,The University has been notified that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office for Civil Rights has expanded a Title VI compliance review of Brown’s response to a May 2024 protest outside  the Warren Alpert Medical School’s graduation ceremony. That review now has broadened to include the entire university and to cover the time period from Oct. 7, 2023, to the present.
