    It’s the busiest time of the year in WeHo.   This week West Hollywood will play host to WEHO PRIDE, a once-a-year weekend event in which the City of West Hollywood fronts an estimated 6million dollars upfront to celebrate PRIDE.   The centerpiece? The intersection of Santa Monica Blvd. and San Vicente and our infamous rainbow crosswalks.  The rainbow crosswalks were first installed in 2012, and adopted to the new progressive flag in 2022.

    Public Safety Commissioner George Nickle took to social media to call Planning Commissioner Andrew Solomon a ‘straight Texas homeowner’. Nickle is the direct appointee of Council member Lauren Meister and Solomon is the direct appointee of Mayor Chelsea Byers.     The bandits took to the streets and storefronts in at number of incidents leading up to the Memorial Day weekend.  In the early hours of Thursday morning the Woods cannabis dispensary experienced its second break-in and smash and grap.   WEHOonline reported the break in here with exclusive videos.     Kith, the New York-based global lifestyle brand, is expanding its West Hollywood footprint by taking over the former Fred Segal location on the Sunset Strip. The move more than doubles the size of its existing space, which has been open since 2018. Founded by Ronnie Fieg in 2011, Kith began as a footwear brand and quickly grew into a full streetwear label. It now operates 18 locations worldwide, including stores in Canada, France, the United Kingdom, South Korea, and three in Japan.
