    Arkansas officials have been made aware of a video purporting to show a customer at a casino being denied payment for gaming chips. "The Racing Commission has not been contacted by the individual in the video," Scott Hardin, Arkansas Racing Commission spokesman, told Gambling.com on Friday. "If we are contacted and a complaint is filed, it will be investigated. We were made aware of the video yesterday (May 8) via this inquiry.

On Tuesday, officials announced that Sovereignty will not run in the Preakness, according to ESPN.com. This ends "any chance at a Triple Crown for a seventh consecutive year," the sports news site reported.

    Sovereignty, ridden by Junior Alvarado, won the 151st Kentucky Derby Saturday, May 3, at Churchill Downs in Louisville on a muddy track before more than 147,000 fans. Down the stretch, Bill Mott-trained Sovereignty passed the favorite colt going into the race, Journalism. The Michael McCarthy-trained Journalism, ridden by Umberto Rispoli, came in second, with late entry  Baeza, trained by John Shirreffs with Flavien Prat aboard, came in third. Sovereignty entered the race with 9-1 odds.
