    Please tell us about your family: I’ve been married to my husband, Brad, for 14 years. We have three boys, Cope, 11; Will, 9; and Smith, 11. My parents, Jane and Jim Watson have lived here since the 1970s. I have two brothers, Justin and Kirk Watson. Justin lives in Savannah with his family, and Kirk lives on St. Simons with his family. I have aunts and uncles and cousins here too, which is wonderful. I’m really thankful to have so much family so close. How long have you lived in the Golden Isles?

    Please tell us about your family: My husband, JJ, grew up on his family’s farm in South Georgia. He is currently the Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Linder Machinery. We have three children. Taylor, our oldest, is 24. After graduating in 2021 from Ole Miss, my alma mater, she decided to stay in the Golden Isles and is currently working for New York Life. We have twin boys, Wynn and Whalen. They are rising sophomores at Glynn Academy. How long have you lived in the Golden Isles?

    Please tell us about your family: I live on St. Simons with my husband Bart, and our 9-month-old-daughter, Piper. How long have you lived in the Golden Isles? I am originally from outside Jacksonville, in Middleburg, Florida, but we have lived all over. We have moved from Folkston to Louisiana, to Texas, to South Carolina and finally back to Georgia. We landed in the Golden Isles in June of 2022. We love it here and we have no plans to leave. Where did you attend school?

    To paraphrase a popular rock 'n' roll ditty from the 1970s, everybody knows that vaping is not allowed in school. And yet, some Glynn County high schoolers persist on vaping in the boys' and girls' bathrooms at Glynn Academy and Brunswick High. Seeking to nip this potentially harmful habit in the bud, the Glynn County School Board on Tuesday approved the purchase of vape detectors for all bathrooms at the county's two high schools.
