Grazie al terreno le piante ricavano tutti gli elementi che, insieme alla luce solare che innesca la fotosintesi, permettono loro di sopravvivere. Se poi il terreno nel quale stanno è giusto per le loro esigenze, allora al posto che sopravvivere si sentiranno alla grande e le loro radici cresceranno sane.

Quando sono alla ricerca di piante e fiori passati di moda e dal look “granny-style” faccio un giro da mia zia nella casa che fu dei miei nonni materni. Il grande terreno che circonda casa, che è un po’ orto, un po’ giardino ed un po’ pollaio, mi riserva belle sorprese in ogni stagione.
