Although familial relationships have long been theorized to impact delinquent behavior (Hirschi, 1969; Hirschi & Gottfredson, 1990), we know less about how adolescent delinquency and arrest change familial relationships. When studying family connections and criminal/delinquent behaviors, criminologists focus on how parental attachment reduces delinquency by establishing strong conventional norms, beliefs, and expectations for adolescents (Hirschi, 1969, 2004).

Small businesses truly drive Ohio’s economy. “Small businesses are incredibly important to this region and our overall economy,” says Megan Kim, Executive Director of the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE).

Not to see a band, though – these artists and creative entrepreneurs were there for the launch of COSE’s Art at Work initiative, held in partnership with Assembly for the Arts.
