Did you try any of my recommendations from last month? In November, I went to the preview night for Hyde Park Winter Wonderland which was a lot of fun. I saw the Zippos Circus Candyand show and the Cirque Berserk Thunderbolt show, as well as giggling my way around fun houses and screaming on the EuroCoaster ride. I also stopped for tea with a friend at God’s Own Junkyard as this is the season of lights.

I always ask this first, but did you try any of my recommendations from last month? I enjoyed Van Gogh: Poets and Lovers at the National Gallery. I was fortunate to see the exhibition before climate activists threw tomato soup over two Sunflowers paintings. It happened on 27 September, just an hour after two others were jailed for a similar protest action in 2022. I’m planning to see Discover Constable & The Hay Wain at the National Gallery this month.

Did you try any of my recommendations from last month? I went to the V&A and saw both Fragile Beauty and Naomi In Fashion. The Fragile Beauty photography exhibition is glorious. It’s photographs from the Sir Elton John and David Furnish Collection on lots of diverse themes. A visit will leave you feeling happy with the beauty all around you. And then you’ve got the rest of the V&A to explore. Absolutely recommended.

Summer is here (no, really) so this month I’m focusing on a great reason to explore London. But before we get to that, did you try any of my recommendations from last month? I got to a few of them and had a day trip at a National Trust property (Standen House and Garden). And, as always, I’ve got lots of ideas for this month so keep on reading. The London Heritage Quarter is the new collective name of four central London Business Improvement Districts (BIDs).
