The 2025 BAFTA TV Awards nominations have now been confirmed, ahead of the televised ceremony that will take place on Sunday, May 11. Netflix hit Baby Reindeer leads with eight nominations, including Leading Actor, Supporting Actress and Limited Drama. Following that, ITV's much-talked about Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Disney's Rivals and Apple TV's Slow Horses each hold six nominations.

ITV has what has been described as a "heart-breaking, real-life story" on the way, led by UK drama favourite Sheridan Smith. The new series, I Fought The Law, is based on the book For The Love of Julie, the "incredible and moving memoir" written by Ann Ming. First published in 2008, it tells the story of a mother's "fight for justice to convict her daughter's murderer for a crime that he thought could never be punished". Ming's daughter Julie was just 22 when she died in 1989.

Domino Day, which inspired lots of Buffy comparisons when it was first released, has just been added to Netflix. The BBC series was introduced as a modern-day supernatural witch drama, and centred its lead character Domino (played by Adult Material's Siena Kelly) as she desperately sought guidance on how to harness her powers. She also used dating apps to fulfil her need to suck the life out of people.
