Among President Trump's first actions Monday was an executive order directing the Justice Department not to enforce a law banning the video-sharing app TikTok until April 5, 2025. The ban had just taken effect the day before, and TikTok was down for about 12 hours last weekend, leading many of its users to find a different platform, with many of the same concerns about privacy, security, and ties to the Chinese government.
