Audley Sunningdale Park, a luxury retirement village based near Ascot held its official ribbon cutting ceremony this week. On Wednesday, July 10, the ceremony was hosted by the Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire, Andrew Try, and Nick Sanderson, CEO at Audley Group. The park is home to 105 apartments and cottages, all for the over 60s. The village is set within the grounds of Sunningdale Park, spanning 79 acres of gardens, lakes and extensive natural woodland.

Kite-making workshops will take place around Maidenhead this summer ahead of Norden Farm’s annual kite festival. The workshops will be at Norden Farm, in the Nicholsons Centre and at Maidenhead Library between Saturday, August 3 and Saturday, August 31. The popular kite festival will take place in Boyn Grove Park on Sunday, September 1. Tickets cost £5 per kite at the Nicholsons Centre and Maidenhead Library, and £6 per kite at Norden Farm.
