Virtual meetings are feeling a lot more crowded these days. You’re not alone if you’ve clicked into a meeting and were joined by multiple AI meeting assistant bots taking up the screen. We’ve heard it referred to as the “Wild West of meeting bots” and it’s only becoming more commonplace as workers realize the benefits of using an AI meeting assistant. We are firmly in the age of AI in the workplace. According to one report, 75% of knowledge workers are now using generative AI tools in their job.

As a marketer, AI is hardly something new for you. A McKinsey survey from 2024 found marketers are among the most significant adopters of AI at work. Odds are you’re already using AI tools to do everything from generating ideas, to keyword research, to creating visuals for social media, to assisting with video editing. In fact, according to SurveyMonkey, 88% of marketers rely on AI in their current jobs and, for 48% of marketing teams, increasing AI adoption is a top goal for 2024.

Did you know that sales reps spend only 28% of their week actually selling? That’s from Salesforce’s State of Sales report and it begs the question — if not selling, what are sales reps doing with the majority of their time? The answer is administrative work. Every sales call requires careful research and CRM updates, not to mention time spent on receiving coaching and feedback. If sales reps and managers can spend less time on repetitive tasks, they can spend more time selling.

It’s the million-dollar question: How often should you post on Instagram? Is it OK to post multiple times a day? Or should you stick to a few posts each week? You can see how quickly it becomes a balancing act. You don’t want to post so infrequently that no one sees your content, but you also don’t want to post so much that Instagram thinks you’re a spam account. Most importantly, you must consider how much time and energy you have to dedicate to the platform.
