    The Oneonta City School District is proposing a 2.73% tax levy increase for the 2025-2026 budget, as well as the purchase of school buses and minivans. The Board of Education has scheduled a public budget hearing 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 7 in the Oneonta High School cafeteria. The budget vote is 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 20 at Foothills Performing Arts Center. According to information from the school district mailed to residents, the proposed budget is $49,010,056.
