Entries Open for NEW Dublin City Half Marathon

Entries are now open for the new Dublin City Half Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, 30th of March 2025, starting at 8:30am in the heart of Dublin City on O'Connell Street. The course will take runners out of the north of the city and will finish back in the city centre. The event is organised by the team behind the Irish Life Dublin Marathon and Race Series, in partnership with Dublin City Council, the official event partner.

Munster Technological University (MTU) student and Dungarvan native, Lucy Holmes (West Waterford AC) has been selected to represent Ireland in the upcoming U23 European Cross Country Championships (ECCC) on Sunday, December 8th in Antalya, Turkey. Lucy narrowly missed out on selections in the last 2 years. She qualified for the ECCC after placing 4th in the National U23 Cross Country Championships in Fermanagh.
